Recognition

In 2003, Ipswich High School was named as a Compass School by the Massachusetts Department of Education. This honor recognized MCAS performance and our strong culture.

In 2004 Ipswich High School received a Vanguard School Award from Massachusetts Insight for Education.

In the year 2005, the United States Department of Education honored Ipswich High School with a designation of Blue Ribbon status. Our 2005 NCLB Blue Ribbon Award marked the first high school in Massachusetts to be recognized with this award. The award recognized our programs, academic excellence and superb culture.
